October Open Meeting Level 2 (Updated 18/8/10)

This Gala will take place on the weekend of 2nd & 3rd October 2010.

Important October Level 2

There have been several queries in relation to the meeting schedule. the questions have been about the Boys 400m events on the same day.

The Meeting organizer will contact clubs shortly. To confirm in advance the Boys 400 IM will move to the Sunday , to the slot of 200 IM (Evt 26).

The Boys 200 IM will move to the Saturday slot of 400 im (Evt 8). Further details of prgram will be posted with confirmation of entries.

May Open Meeting Level 2 - (Updated 10/05)

Many thanks to all the Swimmers,  Parents Team Coaches, Officials & Timekeepers from the visiting clubs that made this event one of the highlights of the competition calendar.

We look forward to seeing you all again next year. 

Thanks to the host club Gloucester City, it's Members , Swimmers Coaching Team, Officials & Timekeepers and the unsung hero's in the background that enable these events to take place.

The Back Room Boy's - 10/5/10

Nuneaton League

Following three rounds of this popular competition for 12 and under swimmers the Junior Team finished a creditable 9th place, significantly higher than 2008 18th position.

The team made up of swimmers with  mixed experience including some swimmers new to competitive galas produced some fine results throughout the season.

Many of the team swam PB's and gained top 3 places along with building a good team spirit.

June Open Meeting Level 3 - 20th/21st 2009

Congratulations & Thank You

To all the parents who helped either as volunteers or officials for our Level 3 Meet a big thank you, all your help makes things run so much smoother on the day and we received many positive comments about the number of officials and organisers who were there making everything happen. We are also very grateful too for the help and support of visiting officials from other clubs, and for the senior officials who kindly give up their time to help Gloucester City turn this into a well organised event for our children. Finally there are also many unsung hero’s who spend hours and days before and after the event co-ordinating, ordering, fetching and returning things and without their time and effort things would just not run so well.  So THANK YOU everybody.
