Management of the Club
Gloucester City Swimming Club is managed by an elected Executive Committee which meets on a monthly basis to ensure that the club is progressing in the right direction.
The Club has four main Executive officers:
- Chairperson
- Vice Chair
- Secretary
- Treasurer
The remainder of the Committee officers consists of:
- Welfare Officer
- Membership Secretary
- Competition Secretary
- Workforce Co-ordinator
- Open Meet Promoter
- Communication Officer
- Lead Team Manager
- SSK Parent Liaison
- TTC Parent Liaison
The Committee meets monthly to deal with all club matters – business, financial, competition and coaching. Once a year all club members are entitled to attend the annual general meeting, which is held during June. At this meeting the election of new Officers and Executive Committee are proposed and voted upon.

Committee Meeting Minutes
Volunteers
The community spirit within the swimming club is built on the additional support it receives from the willing volunteers; these are normally the parents of the swimmers or some of the young volunteers from the senior squads. If you have the enthusiasm and are willing to help make yourself known to a committee members. The type of roles normally involves help at gala’s, club championships and support of committee members on some of the ongoing projects. Your interest may lead you to becoming a time-keeper or judge.
Poolside Helpers
The Coach is supported by a selection of volunteers who have previously been involved in swimming or other sport, have coaching experience or are training for one of the many ASA coaching levels. These helpers can recognized by their Black club shirt
