Reminder from the Competition Pack: "Signing In
- All swimmers must sign in prior to the commencement of warm up for each session.
- If a swimmer is competing all day they may sign in for the whole day.
- It is the Team Managers responsibility to ensure that their swimmers are signed in.
- An £5 fine will be levied to any swimmer who signs in and does not then subsequently swim without notification to the Promoter or Lead Referee by completing a withdrawal notice"
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
DESK OPENING TIMES The signing in desk will be open from 7:15am to 8:00am prior to the start of the first warm up sessions on both Saturday and Sunday mornings and will be located in the entrance to the swimming changing area.
Swimmers can sign in for all day or just one session. To reduce overcrowding can parents/guardians/carers please make their way upstairs to the spectator area and not queue with the swimmers. The stairs are located on the left in the entrance foyer prior to the double doors leading to the swimming area.
The signing in desk will then be relocated to alongside the poolside drinks area. On Saturday the desk will re-open from 10:30am to 11:10am prior to the start of session 2 warm-up; and then again from 14:00am to 14:35am prior to the start of session 3 warm-up.
On Sunday the desk will re-open from 10:25am to 11:05am prior to the start of session 5 warm-up; and then again from 13:30am to 14:10am prior to the start of session 6 warm-up.
Withdrawal notice forms will be available on the signing in desk; and must be completed prior to the start of the relevant session.
The sign in activity is to help reduce the number of potential empty lanes due to swimmers dropping out. It makes for better competition if all lanes are allocated.
