Bonus Ball.
To help raise much needed funds for our Swimming Club it was proposed by some of our members to introduce a syndicate giving members the opportunity to win a weekly sum of money utilising Saturdays UK National Lotto draw bonus ball.
How does it work?
Bonus Ball numbers 1 to 49 will be allocated on a first come first serve basis and members will be notified each weekend of the winning bonus ball number from Saturdays UK National Lotto draw. Numbers will be changed on a yearly basis.
How much will I win?
The weekly prize fund will be set at £25.
What does it cost?
The cost of taking part in the syndicate is £1.00 per week per number from a date specified by the committee. Subject to demand it will be acceptable for members to choose more than one number if they so wish.
How do I make payment?
We have decided to do a trial period of 20 weeks commencing on a date to be specified. A one off payment of £20 will be required prior to the first draw.
Once up and running and more interest gets generated then we will run the bonus ball throughout the year.
To make it easier to control payments the committee has decided to split the year into four periods. 2 x 13 weeks and 2 x 12 weeks totalling 50 weeks payments will be due on a specified date
(Two weeks per year will be required for admin re-allocating the numbers and notifying everyone.)
Or you may have the choice to make a yearly payment of £50.00 due again on the date specified.
Only two of methods of payments will be accepted cheque or cash. Once established we may be able to introduce standing orders
How much will the club generate?
The club will generate £24 per week for the trial period of 20 weeks Then the same figure over the year period of 50 weeks Who do I make payments to? Cheques can be made payable to GLOUCESTER CITY SWIMMING CLUB.
What happens to surplus monies?
All surplus money from the syndicate helps go towards fund raising as decided by the committee on a yearly basis.
- Land training.
- Maintain current costs to a minimum.
- New kit/equipment.
- To help keep the cost down for Warm weather training.
